Hey everyone! It's time to get this portal hoppin'! You all know what Curse is best known for: THE place to get the latest and greatest add-ons for your favorite MMO. Well Lord of the Rings Online is nearing open beta and we're looking for your add-ons to enhance the playing experience.

Got a new UI? Inventory manager? Map or atlas tool? There's no better place to host it than at Curse-Gaming! So what are you waiting for? Who will be the first? Who will be the best? You?

Been looking through the site and am still to really find anything having to do with AddOns. I'm going to have to do some searching because at the moment it appears that almost nothing exists.

Alright, I got a packet of information and I'm going to look it over and see what is going on with customization. I'll post here again when I figure out what I can modify and get something done.

Hopefully by the end of the weekend that 'packet' I gave you will be a full-fledged guide complete with all the art assets needed. Organizing the assets is what will take the time. But then we'll be all set to just start making the kewlest UI Interfaces on the web without going thru the rigamarole of sorting out our assets everytime. :D

Unfortunately I will not be able to help with this because we just can't continue to play after beta. $100 is just too much of an expendature considering we still actively play WoW.  :(

Is there any place to learn the basics of writing add ons? I'm very quick to pick these things up, and I agree, there needs to be some modifications to the UI in my opinion. I would like to learn it and help out, so if you know a good starting point to learn how to make them please share with me. Thanks.
