I used to be able to tank almost completely free of force taunting and now I rely on them way too much. Keeping agro on more then two mobs is just a joke, it doesn't work. Playing a Guardian pre-Book 12 was already not close to the easiest class to be good or even decent at, now it is seriously a nightmare. Why are you putting so much emphasis on Guardian's doing DPS and Champion's tanking? I want to be able to tank correctly. There is no reason that it should be easier to tank in Overpower then it is with Guardian's Threat, and it is. -Tol
Since I don't know what your playstyle is, or how you use your skills I can't really speak to the trouble you're having directly. At the same time I can't agree with your assessment of the new Shield-Taunt. The fact that you're having an easier time tanking in Overpower than you are in Guardian's Threat really baffles me. Care to throw up a video on youtube or the like so perhaps we can see more of why you're running into trouble?

It is.

For a group that is working well together it is certainly better. If everyone is concentrating on the Guardian's main target by the time it is dropped if the new shield taunt is used multiple times the Guardian can have a huge lead over all the DPS classes allowing them to really go off as they cycle through the adds.

Previously the Guardian would never be higher than the Minstrel by more than a few points, or a few points higher than someone attacking an off target. They would essentially have to build up a lead all over again, and were definately prone to losing aggro to DPS classes. While I absolutely agree that it is less efficient if you have fellowship members all attacking different targets it is definately not silly to say it is better.
